Alpa Cowl by Lady Colori
I decided to translate the pattern to English, for people who can’t or prefer not to read charts.
Written in US standard terms.
Ss: Slip stitch
Sc: Single crochet
Hdc: Half double crochet
Dc: Double crochet
Ch 304. Join to circle with sl st. Be careful not to twist the chain.
Round 1: Ch 4.*Skip 1ch, dc in next ch, ch 1* repeat between * and * to the end of the round. Join with 1ss in the 3rd ch of beginning 4ch.
Round 2: Work 1sc into the space of the 1st ch of previous round. Ch 3. *Dc in space of next ch of previous round, ch 1* repeat between * and * to the end of the round. Join with 1ss to the 2nd ch of the beginning 3ch.
Continue round 2 until your desired width has been reached. Don’t cut the yarn, as you will use it to crochet the border.
Border #1: Ch 1. 1dc into the space of the first ch of previous round. *1sc in next ch space. 1 hdc, 3dc, 1 hdc in next ch space. 1 sc in next ch space* repeat between * and * to the last ch. 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc in the last ch space. Finish with 1ss in beginning ch.
Border #2: Attach yarn in the space of a ch (between 2dc) with 1ch and 1sc. *1sc in next ch space. 1 hdc, 3dc, 1 hdc in next ch space. 1 sc in next ch space* repeat between * and * to the last ch. 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc in the last ch space. Finish with 1ss in beginning ch.

2 skeins of Alpalima 310 PHILDAR (390 meters)
60% Alpaca 40% Acrylic, Sport / 5 ply
